Our reporting rules are simple. A deal is only called done when a club or league source has announced it. Anything short of that is labelled a report or a rumour, and we name the outlet the information came from — BBC Sport, Sky Sports, club statements and established local press. We do not publish invented quotes or unsourced fees.
